Do you love Shavasana? If so, than this workshop is for you!
While lying in shavasana you will be guided through a meditation that induces a deep state of relaxation while maintaining conscious awareness. It is called Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep. Yoga Nidra uniquely unwinds the nervous system, which is the foundation of the body's well-being. Unlike a quick Shavasana at the end of yoga practice, Yoga Nidra allows enough time for you to settle in physiologically and psychologically. We begin by quieting the overactive conscious mind, then move into a meditative state, gradually finding a state of "ultimate harmony." Emerge feeling rejuvenated!

Open the Hips with Ease
with BeAnne
Saturday March 10th 1-3pm, $35
Intermediate Level

The pelvis is the central hub of movement and the surrounding hip area is a complex cluster of muscles, tendons, and ligaments that hold anxiety, stress and emotional trauma. Our sedentary lifestyle causes the muscles around the hips to tighten, which pulls on the spine causing low back pain and other physical discomfort. When the body is stressed, energy can't flow, which causes imbalances that lead to disease and illness. During the workshop we will safely explore the hip area with compassion and ease to allow the physical and emotional body to come back in to balance bringing freedom and an overall sense of well being.
