Pilates Mat Class
Spring has sprung and summer is quick to follow! Come join Cheryl’s mat Pilates class each Monday starting April 5th-May 24th from 11:00-12:00 to get your body “beach ready”.
Mat Pilates is a focused and unique way to work your mind and body. It emphasizes the core of the body (abdominals, lower back, glutes and legs) as your power house. Pilates improves flexibility and stability, while creating length and strength of muscles. In Pilates you will achieve muscle balance with the attention to conscious breath and mindfulness of movement. Your core is your stabilizer and helps you move through every day life and a strong core helps to prevent injury.
Set your goal now and try and attend all 8 classes! What you will need…your mat, a strap and a pilates 9” ball. Plum Tree offers straps and balls if you do not wish to invest in your own.
